IN AMERICA, PEOPLE VOLUNTEER BECAUSE THEY WANT TO!
In America, you are not required to give to those less fortunate..or help organizations that make a difference in the community. There is no ordinance forcing you to give or participate. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that you have to provide for those in need. In fact, one of the most amazing things about living in America is that you really don't have to do anything for anybody.
As a CTBU volunteer committee member you will help with creating strategic methods of fundraising, marketing, promoting, and networking. Technical support is much needed.
It's great if you can go half way around the world to volunteer and make a difference in the lives of people. But what's even greater is when you can do as much or more right in your own back yard, without leaving, Fort Worth Texas, USA.
